Mark Patch
With over 25 years experience in managing programs and projects, Mark has the ability to provide clients with a broad range of project management delivery, guidance and support. He has led projects that vary from minor in-house projects to complex and strategic private and public programs in Australia, Europe and the US.
Mark uses his considerable experience in leading strategic project review teams under the Gateway Process for Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria, Commonwealth and New Zealand governments.
Mark is a highly experienced trainer and educator. He develops and delivers Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma adult education. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland Faculty of Business where he has developed and lectures in courses on Tendering & Contracting and Requirements Management.
Mark is a Certified Practising Project Director and a Certified Project Management Assessor with the Australian Institute of Project Management, a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM).

Over 12 year's expertise in the Government, and Aviation industries, more recently providing specialist support to the mining sector. The principle roles and responsibilities delivered to BMA Coal Mining projects include:
Water projects: Owners' Team Study Manager and Project Engineer for the design, build and delivery of the increase in storage capacity of a fine tailings dam. Owners' Team Study Manager and Project Engineer for the upgrading of an existing tailings dam including the remediation of the dam wall and spillway, environmental contamination and increased water storage to support the site water management model. Owners' Team Study Manager and Project Engineer for a 3.5km creek diversion including road crossings.
Conveyor projects: Owners' Team Study Manager and Project Engineer for the upgrading of a 10km overland conveyor system to address reliability issues and increase capacity by 25%. Reliability Engineer responsible for the management of quality, compliance and commissioning of an underground maingate conveyor system
Front end loading (FEL) activities to successfully progress the project from Identification Phase through endorsement and into execution. including: development of business cases; project definition; stakeholder engagement and workshopping; stakeholder requirements definition; risk management; development of scope of works for execution; schedule development; budget estimations; conceptual and detailed engineering design; commissioning and testing; contractor management system; environmental engagement and approvals; condition analysis, simulations, health, safety, environment and community (HSEC); and auditing of contractors
